Leadership and followership, like any complex skill, are not developed by learning about them in a classroom or training session. Like learning a sport, musical instrument, or following any discipline,  leadership and followership are developed as they are practiced in the leadership moments of our lives. It begins with fundamental skill development, practice and implementation. As mastery of the fundamentals is achieved, additional more complex skills are learned and practiced until one achieves mastery.
